My current work explores themes of motion and the passage of time, embedding dreamlike imagery into the constantly shifting fabric of our daily lives. Drawing from my digital photography, I create alternate realities that serve as meditative spaces for reflection, encouraging viewers to consider their own place within an increasingly fragmented and fast-paced world.
Through multiple iterations, I layer images and shift colors to mirror the dissonance between personal memories and shared cultural narratives, evoking emotional responses that challenge the viewer to confront the complexities of their own experience. In some compositions, vertical strips disrupt the visual continuity, emphasizing the fractures and rhythms of contemporary life, while drawing attention to variations within a scene—paralleling the contrasts and contradictions within our daily lives.
By bridging the personal and the universal, my work aims to provoke a dialogue about the ways we navigate a world in constant motion, adapting to change while grappling with the persistence of memory and the beauty of fleeting moments.
